I wonder if you will ever be able to recruit a deranged Hedge Wizard into your band or if not as a battlefield unit then as some sort of supporting Band Follower.

Magic does exist in this setting afterall just in the more 'low' and dark/gritty sense.

Perhaps such a member of the group could provide unique benefits but also unique downsides/potential issues.
