Error?

ok im back, and i bought the game!

one problem, it wont let me play, it says i got a critical error, and i should update my video drivers but they are already up to date :(, any way to fix this? or should i refund (hoping for first choice)

id provide a screentshot but it wont let me so ill copy and paste it (its a white background, and i can hear the main menue (im guessing its that)

if the game crashes repeately at startup, you should update your video drivers.

Have you restarted the game several times?

You can always try running the executable in compatibility mode. Or make sure those drivers are up to date from your maker's site :D

i did, and also im pretty sure my drivers are up to date (i tried an auto update) it could be my drivers dont support gl thing though
its not like im the one person this has happened too :D i didnt find anything about this on the internet...

i went to the old version and it is working.... so thats not a good sign for me

I remember something about new version of some component they updated to the game possibly not working for some older PCs, or SOMETHING. I cant remember specifics, maybe someone else can help out with this. Reading developer updates and blogs might help, since that's where I remember seeing that information.

It works fine for 99% of the people who bought it, so the issue is on your pc. Maybe you can log into steam somewhere else, and try the game there, as well. Also checking reviews and asking those people on steam might help. You can also post about the issue to Battle Brothers forums, if you wish.

In my experience, all those "driver auto update features" are crap and don't really work.
I recommend you to update your drivers manually.

Seconded, dont trust auto-updaters, and definitely not third party updaters.

and i dont, i use the windows one (i use windows 7 that may also be the reason it itsnt working)
now time to figure out what to update lol (if thats the problem)
