its random I think, I've got the lindwurm armor from a fight with zombie's before. I believe it was in a ruin or something of that sort.

It's unique gear, so doing things that increase your chance of getting a unique should help. I have not heard of them for sale, just random or in distant enemy bases (far away from cities) which increases chances of uniques in general. If they can be sold then caravan missions to cities with armorers should help. Other than making it hard to reliably obtain, it's better that way since you'd want it to make fighting the lindwurms more profitable by getting less armor damage, so it'd be kind of annoying if you had to kill a lot of them to get it.

lol They should have told everyone lindwurm sets have nothing to do with fighting lindwurms. They are just found in specialized shops and enemy camps like all other famed items.

The body armor is an excellent unique, even not considering the lindwurm thing. Looks like the shields are just like any unique shield.

It's a style of unique, goes with the golden scale body armor. I think it's a step heavier than the unique mail armors. The ones I found had good fatigue ratios but not >300 armor.

Ah, feeling envy to that helm. During few days, I destroyed hundreds of Warcamps,Ruins,Goblin cities and killed thousands of foes to get that helm and find code of it. i found Lindwurm armor and shield, but i still got no helm of that. i was not able to get that even when i destroyed the Black monolith. Where did u got that helm?

It took like 150 days for the event to finally play while traveling in a forest.

There is also another event with unique weapon reward that involves some old hermit and a goblin while traveling in a forest.

Seriously, I think forest has a lot more events for these.
