By the way master archers already exist. You can fight swordmasters too which i guess would be a assassin of sorts given how hard they are to hit. Both are found in bandit and merc fights.
I once fought 4 master archers, that was a ridiculous fight.
There are no upgraded bandit leaders but it's possible to fight multiple bandit leaders, the max i fought was 4.
That isn't his equipment, just so you know...
Guess Im still only at mid game. There are still a lot I havent killed huh ...
Hedge Knights are not crowned by a fancy-pants nobleman and they dont unhold any oaths. They just wear three layers of steel and ram steel down peasants' or occasionally soldiers' throats, without any of that honourable stuff.
So.. yeah, they aint real knights, boi. They just get all the benefits, with none of the responsibilities.
And with irresponsibility comes the lust for murder c:
You can be good at something and still be a complete prick otherwise.
I like them mostly for flavor, but the fact that they tend often to have generous stats is also a bonus. Sellswords often have attack and defense on par or exceeding them, but their fatigue and hp is almost always lower, especially so in the former case.
Yeah, but if you read your battle brothers' background stories, it's not uncommon for someone to be setup by their employer and/or scapegoated for something. It's not hard to imagine that the swordmaster accidentally caused the death of a noble's child or was exhiled for humiliating someone important.
Desperate times easily leads to desperate measures... and sticking the pointy end of a stick into another person is his specialty.
