Russsians tried to hack it as scripts and txt files are encrypted but it looks like they are stuck at something.
If happen that they would be succesful then maybe it would be possible to get tools they used to translate it into other languages.
But for now its never.

For this game, you dont need to be good in english. Its enough to have english basics to play.

Might not work with events, they usually have tons of detail in them.

Your suggestion of a solution is not feasible. Developers cannot afford to do a shoddy job on an officially-released material, regardless whether it's a full-release, DLC or "just" a translation. There's a lot of text to translate in BB and professional translators get paid by the word count. And it would need to be done by professionals, because this game is a product that you pay for.

When a friend does you a favor and quick-fixes your car with some wire and duct tape you'll probably be impressed and even praise him for a job well done. But when a mechanic does the same and charges you some serious € for such a "repair" you're going to be really pissed. Same applies here.

BB was made by between 3 and 6 (depending on whether you consider commisioned people part of the team or not) people so I think it's pretty understandable that they don't have amazingly deep pockets, especially when it comes to non-essential stuff.

There would be some other issues with doing a translation as well, such as the fact that English verbs are not gender-sensitive, and grammar is very simple in general, something that the devs used to compose longer texts from randomly-assembled shorter snippets. And it's also something that wouldn't make much sense in many other languages.

It's not impossible, of course. I think some Russian guys are doing a fan-made translation already? But it's fan-made, not an official release.

what he says is true. But they could tell you where to find the game's text file and then let fans do the unofficial translation or at least help the fans by giving the basis for saying the material and here. Consequently, even if it is not a dlc but at least the various players know that conational fans are trying to translate the game. Surely this would help the sales of the game, because otherwise the game has an unofficial translation but there is both the game and the various dlc purchased.
I do not know if I was clear.

Poco tempo fa ho acquistato la traduzione di un gioco da un gruppo amatoriale che chiedeva un contributo d 4 euro. Ho accettato e trovo giusto pagare un contributo a persone che comunque si impegnano in un lavoro. Mi piacerebbe che fosse fatto anche per questo gioco, tuttavia il mio è un discorso generale.
