I did try that, setting the value type to float but it says "no readable memory found"

1. make sure that you have battle brothers selected as the process
2. search for a float, or failing that, all.
3. search for the value of the crowns
4. buy / sell / do something to alter amount of crowns
5. search new value

I do exactly that but the no memory found happens even if I scan all. Gotta be something i do wrong :/

have you checked to make sure that the address range hasn't been messed with? Under memory scan options, should be from 0000000000000000 to 7fffffffffffffff

Yes thats also checked, ill try and reinstall hte engine i guess

u can save edit money with hex editor

1. search third mention of Comppany name.
1a. when u reached banner something u r at right place.
2. look past seed
3. next four bytes after seed are float number of money.
4. [optional] u should check gold amount with hex editor that supports floats.

here is some amounts...
00 00 7A 44 <- 1000
00 40 1C 46 <- 10 000
00 50 43 47 <- 50 000
00 50 43 48 <- 200 000
23 C7 8A 5F <- 20 000 000 000 000 000 000
00 00 08 7F <- Infinite

warning u may gain some steam achievements when entering highest most values.
