"Confront Orc Warlord"

During the Greenskin invasion I took a contract to lure out the warlord and defeat him. It pays pretty well, 9k at Veteran on day 300.

I'm supposed to defeat any greenskin party to piss him off enough to come out and fight, and I've gone and defeated 5 parties and mooched around the area for AN ENTIRE WEEK now. After each battle an event screen pops up saying he's coming, and I've had 3 more event screens pop up saying the same.

But he's still not here.

I'm still standing on the battle site, near a road where I last killed a greenskin party.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, and when this guy will show up?

(I'm leeching gold, and all the nearby villages have been raided recently, so I leech moar, i cri)

Took me more than 5 battles for him to come. Keep going, don't stay around the same spot go raze some lairs.

The last message before he's actually coming is pretty clear but the first ones can be misleading you into thinking you're there already.

You're not doing anything wrong. Just keep killing greenskins/raiding their camps and he will find you.

My guess would be that because your contract pays so well you're going to have to defeat more mobs to lure him out. Most times I've done it, the pay has been about half your amount but I've only needed to kill 4-5- parties/camps for him to appear.

When it says that the Warlord is coming for you, just camp and he will come after camping for about a day.

He will go for you much quicker if you destroy orc\goblin camps.

Same thing happend for me. But he will come eventually. I actually killed another Warlord before the right (quest related) Warlord appeared.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

So, I read the comments and decided to kill everything, camps, mobs, the lot.

The ACTUAL event message is something like "Everyone you meet says the Orc Warlod has assembled an army and is heading your way!!!" which I guess is a stronger message than "The Orc Warlord must be pissed by now"

Ya, in the end I kited the 30-man greenskin army looking for a patrol to help me but they were all faster than the greenskin army, so I found a mercenary company lurking at a village and had them help me instead.

Um, I got the quest around day 120. The greenskin invasion is the first end crisis I encounterered and it's still raging. It's just silly this kind of fuzzy quests can totally ruin a good run.
