I've gotten one set of armor.
the weapon is good same quality of stuff as you'd get from the store. save you a couple thousand.
the shield is OK, same as a heater except less HP.
The Helm and armor are more or less the same that you could buy in the store but with a worse HP to fatigue ratio, so...not really recommended to wear.
but they certainly drop. if you don't destroy them in the fight at least.
I believe the helm has to be destroyed prior to decapitate succeeds.
best way to get helms is probably to body shot things with cleavers until they bleed out. though doesn't work with undead.
I just kill alot of undead, I get a helm maybe 30% of the time. standard killing
Helms I generally use are the 140 HP helms with -1 vision. seem to be good enough.
They have abysmal melee defense and they'll never hit anyone as long as you have shields and made sure to get rid of any necromancers first.
My main guy with the standard had the cool one with the banshee or wraith on top.
They were a little on the fatigue side but gave 240 - 250 armor and were free. ;)
Also, you'll get heaps more of those helmets.
Undead crisis, clearing ruins like mad, and finally (via blind luck) got some fallen hero armour. Decayed Coat of Plates.
Its terrible. -42 fatigue and less durability than heavy lamellar. Granted, if I'd gotten it earlier I might have used it, but most of my 2-handers are wearing -yep- heavy lamellar.
