Lone Wolf and Underdog are a must if you are going in alone.
Weapon mastery ofc and maybe Footwork if you get locked in unwanted melee.
Just in case things.
A possible alternate build would be a Throwing weapon master with Bullseye instead of Underdog. Then you could use him to hunt other annoying undead, like Priests.
For real assasin who kills enemy and loot all their belongings:
There are two possible ways. Obviosly you need Nimble based build to have as much Fatigue as you can for puncture. You can use it with cloth for 100% chance and boost HP with Colossus & little bit Initiative to act first as one more advantage, and later Overwhelm. Or you can take Colossus and Browny and use chain armour with 60-70% chance of Nimble, plus Battle forged for 10-15 resistance.
Fast adaptation, Backstabber becouse -15% hit chance of puncture.
Crippling Strikes+ Executioner
Recovery
Dodge
Dagger Mastery
Footwork
Indomitable maybe for extra survivability.

Dodge
Steel Brow or Nine Lives (I usualy choose steel brow)
Sword Mastery
Footwork
Nimble
Duelist
Colossus or Overwhelm (with very high initiative only)
Berserk
Killing Frenzy
Recover or Pathfinding
Edit: Recover pairs really well with Dodge but Pathfinding is great if you're going to use him to chase down enemy archers and with Iron Lungs you might not need to rely on Recover as much as you normally would.
Also I've learned not to rely too much on Overwhelm. I've had enemy fallen heroes with 3 stacks of Overwhelm still hit me 2x in a row for enormous damage. It's an ok pick but experience has taught me that Colossus is a much better choice in most circumstances. Remember with Nimble procs that 25% more health that you gain from Colossus is actually more like 50% more health.
Footwork is an absolute must; it helps with positioning and has saved my bros life plenty of times. Since you should never be engaging more than 1 target at a time as a nimble duelist the perk underdog is not necessary.
Finally for nimble duelists you definitely want to be using swords over any other weapon for 3 reasons:
1. That 10% extra hit chance swords give you is extremely good since you should be investing most of your points into health and melee/ranged defense.
2. Riposte is probably the best weapon ability in the game. It can be used both defensively and offensively so I use it quite often and it will give your duelist a lot of extra damage.
3. Swords are lighter than all other duelist weapons: I tend to use the Cruel Falchion (3 fatigue) until I get a rare sword. I say this because daggers are not duelist weapons. The perk duelist does nothing for dagger wielders. I acually prefer using daggers on my tanks with high hit and backstabber for this reason.
