Unable to complete contract?

Hi folks,
Have a delivery contract - drop off a package to a guy in Seestadt; no prob, easy money.

Except when I get to the city, instead of completing the quest a little ways from the town like normal, it lets me enter the city without a completion message. I enter the city, can go to the market, shop, etc - then leave, and still have the contract.

For some reason I can't seem to complete this contract. Any ideas?

Oh, and:

- yes, it's the right city. I checked repeatedly... :)
- The little contract/quest coin indicator thing is over the city, as it should be. (and it's still there after I visit...)

The one oddity - I noticed before save/quitting (it's an ironman run) that the quest directions specify 'Deliver the package to seestadt in the north'; well on this map seestadt is very nearly the southernmost city on the map. (There's not, like, another one to the north though - I looked, and again, the quest marker marks the one I visited...)

If you cant solve it, at least you can drop the contract and take the rep penalty, its not that serious. Beats being stuck on a guest for the rest of your save file, right? other than that I got no idea how to deal with it. Sounds really bugged, this one.

maybe there was event you missed ?
there are contracts where someone steal package from you and you need to fallow the tracks to take it back

Hmmmm... That's possible - normally I see those on the higher-paying delivery messages and I seem to remember this being more of a midrange, but I did get the dire wolf armor event enroute, and so was a little distracted - also recall answering the phone while my guys were travelling, so I may have just come back, closed the dialogue box saying the package was stolen without reading it, and moved on.

Honestly, that seems like the most plausible possibility. I'll backtrack and look for larger tracks, if they haven't faded. If that doesn't work, guess I'll have to anger my employers by dropping this one... he payed a bit in advance, too... :)

For what it's worth, on another game, just got the delivery mission where the cargo is stolen, and so can confirm that when the cargo is stolen the little quest target marker no longer is on the destination city - so seems like it really was a buginstead of the cargo stolen. The quest target marker moves to the location of the bandits that stole the cargo when they steal it.
