here is the best ending 100% save

For anyone going crazy trying to achieve the best ending, here is my save file. A big thank you to kentrurox whose youtube playthrough (link below) helped tremendously in unlocking the top rating for "Voids" and "Though This Be Madness."

Please note that some web browsers may red flag this download as malicious, but it is 100% safe, do not worry.

Instructions:

Simply place these files in your main Steam--> Star Trek Judgment Rites directory. IF YOU HAVE ANY SAVE FILES YOU DO NOT WISH TO LOSE, FIRST BACK UP ALL SAVEGAME FILES AS THEY WILL LIKELY BE OVERRIDDEN. THAT INCLUDES SAVEGAME.NEW and SAVEGAME.DIR!!!

Final in-game instructions for best ending (Spoilers ahead)...................

1. Give the paralense in your inventory to klingon Captain Klarr
2. Select Dialogue option 1
3. Select Dialogue option 2

Enjoy :-) Given the mind-numbing difficulty and damn near psychic ability you must have to determine what the programmers wanted the players to do in order to get 100% ratings, I'd be surprised if only a handful of players have ever seen the best ending to this game, particularly when it was first released in the 1990s pre-internet era.

Yep - works great, been playing this on my W10 machine for approx. 6 hours now with no issues.

Would anyone know of a working download for the saved game file? The site tinyupload.com went down back in 2021, and the file is no longer available :( THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I updated the download link. Please let me know if there are any problems. It's been years since I played this, so I tested it again on my Steam installation just to make sure it still works. I believe it should still be fine, though you may need to make sure you've unlocked the last level "Yet There Is Method In It" by playing through the game normally. As before, be aware that by using the included files, your previous saves may no longer work, so backup anything you don't wish to potentially lose.
