Razer Synapse

Hi folks - it appears that the crash on startup is frequently being caused by Razer software, specifically Synapse/Cortex and its overlay. Please disable this overlay or the Razer suite entirely and you should boot into the game just fine without the alt-tabbing solution.

We are also actively investigating the issues with crashing on ending a turn - please bear with us as we are receiving a high number of reports across multiple forums/social media platforms and are doing our best to ensure all issues get our attention! :)

You can disable Synapse but you need to find a more appropriate solution.
It is not a purpose to disable it.
It's my opinion.
Why Synapse create a conflict at startup?

And how do you disable Synapse then? Because I have no clue on how to do that...

I confirm this! No need to switch off razer synapse just start task manager and kill razer in game scanner and overlay.

yeah this is rubbish doesnt work and even if I get past start screen with alt tabbing on load screen it crashes again. when are you gonna bite the bullet and apologise for the poor launch? whens the patch fix coming? Ive paid nearly £100 for this game and all dlc's this is disgusting to be waiting nearly a week with no replies or actual word on when your fixing it!!!!!

Right I just uninstalled anything and everything razer and im still having to alt-tab to get it to work, first it was due to mods, now its from razer, can yall just admit somthings up with the dlc and its not on our end?

Everyone it's RzStats that is causing the crash not just Razer Synapse you can remove RzStats which is not required without removing Razer Synapse, Here are the instructions:

To remove razer stats without deleting razer synapse navigate to:
C:\ProgramData\Razer\Synapse\ProductUpdates\Uninstallers\RzStats and run the uninstall file, now that you have done that restart your pc and launch warhammer it should show the warhammer screen go black for a few seconds and then launch.

Mystir, I have to disagree...I do not, or cannot find RzStats...and I have closed anything Razor from Task Manager and I'm still getting a crash and this is only since yesterday's update...before that everything was good...so, it must be something else...

Does no longer work since hot fix. I get random crashes no matter what. Fix this! NOW! This is ridiculous. Sorry.

I agree, I have not been able to play since the fix...VERY depressing...I would have hoped it could've have been fixed by now...disappointing...I was having a great deal of fun playing the WE...now I can't...do we have an estimate of when we can expect a fix???

Can confirm it still works just launched my game no mods without any issues.

Mystir, For the majority of us, we want to be able to use mods. I myself tested launching the game with no mods and it works but I can no longer enjoy the vanilla version. I should be able to play with mods on without any issues.

Try loading different mods one by one to find the problem at the same time check the descriptions for compatibility issues, for example using radious with a skill point modifier.

So, update for you devs. I can launch the game when I close Razer Synapse, but when I e.g. change resolutions, I crash again. When will you own up to the fact that you really messed up with the latest patch? Fix it before the holiday season, or your company is just plain dead. Imagine people getting the game as a present and the game does not start!

Closing down Razer software to play the game isnt a viable solution, it worked for me at first but now it doesnt i still have to alt-tab. I also get CTD's when playing anyway always around turn 11-14 without fail. This has all been since the Wood Elves update 9 days ago. Extremely bad to be honest. I was throughly enjoying this game too. Sort this mess out for god sake.
