It seriously is about time for a shmup to come along and steal the crown from Radiant Silvergun/Ikaruga/Gradius V/R-Type Final. . . With this being said, there are some pretty good shooters on the pc but still nothing comes close to those aforeentioned behemoths of yesteryear. With the resurgence of the space sim a al Elite Dangerous/Star Citizen, why-oh-why can we not have something awesomely, inventive, fresh in the vertical/horizontal shooter category to rekindle interest in this once glorious genre?...

There are no graphics/control options and there's a truckload of input lag. Sorry, but there are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of shmups that get this basic stuff right. I want a refund.

One thing I'm curious about, has "auto wiggle" been present in other games ports or arcade versions, and if not, are they considered "legit" (take that how you will)? Also any other tips or any other mechanics of interest and whatnot I should know about beyond the basic wiggle system?...
