Athena isn't the goddess of war

Am i the only one shocked by the fact they call Athena "the goddess of war" ? she's the goddess of smartness and war strategie, the real goddess of war is Bellona (from bellum, roman for war).

well if you have to correct people, then dont mix up stuff yourself. Athena is a greek name, Bellona is a roman name, the roman and greek gods are not 100% the same.

The greek god of war is Ares.

No. The roman equivalent of Athena is Minerve, Bellona is another goddess, Ares is greek god of war and his roman equivalent is Mars but Bellona is a whole new thing, another goddess, its like the girl equivalent of Mars, and its the real goddess of war, im talking about goddess, idgaf about mars

There are probly alot of goddess of war around the world myths, like Neith, they went with the Greek names, becouse only few people know or care about the roman versions, even more less about some Bellona.

you are still mixing up the version of the myths.
