Weird Kappa...

After beating the Lvl. 60 boss for the first time (a Dearth Bat), it was instantly replaced by... not another Dearth Bat, but instead a Kappa with a face that seemed to have been cut-and-pasted from a black-and-white photograph. Very strange. It also had quite a lot of HP, and I'd only beaten the first bat by using all of my powers, which were now on cooldown, so I didn't have a prayer of actually DEFEATING the thing. After the timer ran out, it was replaced by an ordinary Dearth Bat. I came back to that level later, after a few more level-ups, and carved my way through a dozen bats in short order - but the Kappa never reappeared.

Anyone else seen that thing? Any idea what it's all about? I get the feeling that it's some sort of reference or easter-egg, but I don't get it...

The Kappa monster is a very rare one. I got it on level 134 or so, but i killed it so quickly that i didnt have time to take a screenshot :C

Its the twitch emote Kappa which puts that face in the chat.

Right... a 'twitch' thing. Guess that would explain why I didn't 'get' it. :p Glad to hear there's no particular reward to beating him, too, so at least I didn't miss anything by my inability.

It's simply a very rare Easter Egg, it replaces certain monster, but doesn't alter it's stats in any way.

There's another little fellow who quite rarely shows up, when you click on him a bunch of times he'll activate a random skill whether it's on cooldown or not. Here's a screenshot of the guy (he's in the top-right corner).

Just click him enough time and he will give you a bonus
