Trouble with Windows 10

Since upgrading my computer to Windows 10 yesterday Clicker Heroes keeps crashing on start up, instead of starting it just shows a white window and then crashes displaying a error message about that it has stopped working and windows can't find you a solution.

Online version seems to work today but it didn't when I tried yesterday.

Anyone else with this problem or perhaps there is someone who could lend me a hand in solving this?

My specs are as follows:

Microsoft surface pro 2
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90GHz (4 CPUs)
DirectX Version: 12
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

I am having the same issue with the Steam release, and no issue with the browser version. Probably an issue with Windows 10.

yeah its not exactly optimized for the newer system. you better revert to whichever you were usinh before

Same here. I guess it's just a matter of waiting for the dev to release an update.

I'm on Win10, and have had no problem with this game. Maybe check your drivers? Try launching in compatability mode?

Now I got it working by running it with admin clearance, weird... But well atleast it's working again :)

I'm so glad they didn't made Clicker heroes working on windows 95/58 only :P
It would be so troublesome for me to go back on it now, purely because single idle game don't works on Win 7 ;-)

Same here, but on Windows 8. When i start the game it shows a black window and refuses to really start. Any idea ?

I heard some people play on Windows 8 and things work fine. Maybe you can play on Win 8 / 10, if you have some components installed? Anyone know game enough to tell what exactly can go in your way from playing it?

Maybe we should ask on Reddit, as there is quite big Clickers community there.

Admin mode was often a solution when people moved from WinXP to Win7, so chances are high the same applies to Win10. In normal user mode Win10 has many restrictions to enhance infection protection.

My issue is that I can't do 10, 25, 100x leveling at the same time, and it isn't responding to all clicks (a few clicks behind actual count). Going to high levels and not having the 25 or 100x button is going to suck.

I wrote support wether they were going to fix this or not... That was one week ago :-P Seems like my addiction to Clicker Heroes wore off sooner than expected!

I've done an extensive number of things trying to get mine working, ranging from validating game files, to using the Run > steam//flushconfig and then shut down and boot up PC, then validate again. I've even tried reinstalling steam. No joy. Still crashes on game startup and it shuts down.
