How many ascentions did it take you to reach level 3,600?

Hey, gang!

Just made it to level 1,000. The reason I'm posting this is to find out how many ascentions it took you guys to get to level 3,600. I basically wish to know if I should continue to use my rubies on quick ascentions (I get just shy of 20,000HS that way) or use them on the random relics. I more than likely won't get anything I need from the random relics and it's a much better idea for the quick ascention. But I'm referring to the gain 1,000 relics achievement.

TL;DR To get the 1,000 relic achievement, will I gain it naturally though the course of ascending to level 3,600, or should I start pumping my rubies into relics?

I'm level 4070 now and it took me 76 to be where I am now. Though 70 (or even more) of them were Quick Ascensions ^^

(Also, I started to use a separate save file to get the 250 ascensions achievement; I continued to ascend with my game and then loaded the old save again, so I could continue on my journey, just to make that clear.)

While I realize this is a very old thread... On my desktop, I reached zone 3600 some days ago. I'm pretty sure I have 20 ascensions on my desktop, 19 of which are Quick Ascensions.

Well I'm sorry that I didn't just read the wall of text before posting this comment and I haven't made it past 500 yet although I'm pretty sure I'm able to make it to level 600 now.

Anyway the reason I'm commenting is because you seem concerned about the relics, as is so far for me, I had one merc bring home 17 relics lol so I'm personally guessing getting to 1000 isn't gonna be hard so I would continue using QA for more HS.

I haven't done any math to back it up, but logically, you should eventually get to 3600 *optimal* idle.

From experience, I can tell you that you'll regild out of Astraea at about 2800. Therefore, Chrion -> Moloch should be around 3000, and Moloch -> Bomber Max, due to Bomber Max having a lower multiplier, could be a little later than 3200. That still leaves 2 more heroes (and the interludes where Wepwawet makes Betty and Midas awesome) to cover 3200-ish to 3600.

That said, you'll be will into the 6 figures for Siyalatas before you make it. On the whole, it's cheaper to build up a hybrid build for the express purpose of reaching 3600.

Coming from experience, I have lvl 100k idle friends as of the time of the post.

100k is gilded on Mol with optimal a little past 3.2k

going from experience and patterns:

200k would be gilded on bomber with optimal in the 3.4k-3.5k which is enough to reach 3.6k in a few hours if you try.

optimal 3.6k would come wround 300-400k siy.

edit: This is a year and 4k ascenions in so far so its not a quick task.
