well honestly though it may have helped you take down a boss or two but in about 30 levels or so he will meet his match vs the other heroes and after another 30 levels he becomes a joke like all the other bottom rung guys.

If you don't have the Click Combo Artifact ( and an auto ), you're going to hit another wall soon.

Which means you now get to rinse-repeat amassing a large amount of Hero Souls to up your damage.

And I'm using Juggernaut. Guy is a hoss. I hit about floor 360 before I felt like I should cash in my souls because I basically earned half of what I already had.

I don't think I'll stay 'focused' long enough to try and attain the next major dps wall after DreadKnight. Just doesn't seem to be any real 'reward' for breaking down other walls down the line, other than being able to continue beating levels.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun...for awhile, then not so much. hehe

aye i am also kinda feeling the fun wain but im also an achiever and this games free so im shooting for getting many achieves as i can hopeful for atleast 80% of them completed before i give but getting them all would truely be an achievement!

after frostleaf your supposed to start using old heroes again like treebeast,ivan,brittany and masked samurai

every 25 levels they get x4 damage and every thousand they get x10 damage, they will quickly out damage dread knight or any of the other heroes until very (very) much later in the game

i just bought juggernaut and the critical click ancient.. it boosted me for about 150 levels.. having jugernaut at lvl 10 and the crit ancient at 20 i just got boosted for 400 levels xD i gilded the samurai and dread knight only gives me like 2 % when i buy him. by the time i got dread knight at 100 he only gives me 0. % dps. I think gilding him would be pretty useless since samurai is the most efficient for the next 2 k levels..

Yep, done that but I've only leveled them to 1000 for most, even then though the extra damage is such a small % of total dps. Usually the last unlocked hero is the one with the most dps %, as high as 95%+ sometimes.
The 10,000U for Dread Knight is quite a 'wall', especially without any clicker aid programs. I can only imagine it being worst with the other 'walls' further along in the game.

after levelling dread knight at 100 try levelling treebeast al 1400, you'll see %dps from dread knight fall, and %dps from trebeast rise

yeah,all those units at the bottom you wont be using any of them until zone 5000+ (when you switch from masked samurai to atlus)

you can try them but they will quickly fall off in damage compared to the cost of upgrading so the window of time they are actually useful is small, so its best to just use the cheaper units until late game

masked samurai is good from 400 to 5000 so he will be your main guy pretty soon

Hes really not a good character to have guilded unless your like crazy far in the game to the point where your taking dark knight past level 1000 fairly fast each ascend.

Kight is like Frostleaf. Hot potatoes when you first get him, decent to lv100, after that a quick 25 levels in an earlier hero with 450% dps skills and some guilds (like tree bast, ivan or brittany) will make him near worthless for the remainder of your run. Hes good for a decent push to 500 though (or was that the blue guy after him through to 500)

My last run for instance i forgot to hire him until i realize i was several units of gold past what it costs to use him (what hes U and i was on % i think), hes that meh...

This game is all about DPS increase for cost invested, correct?

I think my best hero per money spent is the Great Forest Seer at the moment.

Anyone know if there's a good DPS calculator for this game?
