I hoped that cheaters would have a mark on their game progress that would have excluded them from guilds/clans. If i had a way to determine a cheater for sure i would boot him from my clan.

Edit: People who actually use these, use also google. I provided link so those of us who like to play it honest can see what these do. And if maker would think that link should be blacklisted on these forums he would've done it already.

Currently the game has something called a hash-value associated with your save file.
As far as I know, no one has cracked it yet.

i never cheat in games (since i was about 10), this is the first thing i have ever set up a macro for and even then its only for the raid boss, but i like to keep up to date with cheats for games. knowing about methods of unfair advantage doesn't make you a cheater, that's guilt by association.

quite literally, know your enemy. i play a FPS a lot and it is important to work out if someone is just good/lucky, or if they're hacking. and then to compensate against that, is it wallhacks, aimbot, damage increase, damage mitigation? all of these things and more require varying respsonses.

until the ultimate response of their sad and sorry, digitally handicapped arses getting caught and banned. seeing bans makes me happy.
