re-gilding question

How do I move all the gilds from one specific hero to another specific hero. For example how do I move all gilds from Treebeast to Wepwawet? I see the instructions when hovering over them, click, or hold control or hold shift or hold Q, but none of them actually sound like what I want to do. Note that I don't want to send ALL gilds from all heroes to one hero. I want to split them up into half a dozen heroes.

Click on the gilded button on your heroes screen. Howver over a char to see how degilding works. When you degild it randomly regild a caracter... also Id say ... dont waste your time on degilding... when you transcend it resets the gilding... you are going to redo all gilding every time you transcend so... its a great waste of time lol... well IMHO

thanks, I had sort of thought the same thing about it being a waste of time but wasn't sure. I won't even bother then.
