RAM-hungry Unity version + likely memory leak
Since I updated the game a few days ago (yes, I've skipped updates as I simply didn't restart the game since, maybe November 2023 or earlier) the game has shown great performance improvements, although I miss SWF's vector graphics scaling and animation smoothness. I don't miss the weird scrolling behavior that is choppier but more consistent now.

But the game is darn hungry for ram. Just on open, it's already chewing 2.4GB RAM/page; it's indeed a rampage of ram as, after a few days running straight (in background with occasional check-ups), it shows choppier animations all around and up to 10GB RAM usage! Not really under working set (on RAM), but as the allocated memory space for the game (private memory). At that point, the working set usage reported was about 2.5GB, which is well over its initial ~460MB private (on-chip) RAM used.

I see a lot of value in devs effort to modernize the game and am sorry to see there's no nice alternative to flash anymore nowadays. No vector art animations, really miss those times! Animations could lack in details, but seldom in aliasing with that liltle old tech!

Memory leak still there. Playing under Linux + Wine. Almost hanged up my computer. Approximately 30-40h online though.

I got a session I started at 2024-04-25, running atm at 2.821.828 K private bytes and 378.088 K working set. Seems stable at this number. So there might be something that triggers the leak, or I don't know. Yet, almost 3gig RAM feels a bit too much for such a game :P
