Once I start getting them in the 2000 range with ease I tend to move on to next in list. With transcension you don't keep the heroes gilded for long anyway. IE: 2-3 runs with Atlas gilded, move on to Terra...2-3 with Terra, move to Phthalo etc.
Some people even gild hop now mid run to push higher zones. One thing is for sure, you want all your gilds on 1 hero, not spread out, and just focus on leveling the gilded hero as high as possible.
I also skip leveling half the heroes anyway. Since I don't active click at all except for that 1 monster upon ascend.
My tactic looks something like this currently:
Fisherman, Betty, Leon, Broyle, Midas, Beastlord, Shinatobe, Grant, and Frostleaf to 75
Amenhotep to 150
Spam level Samurai til gilded hero unlocks.
Spam level gilded hero til instakill stop and ascend.
I ignore all other heros that don't give a 'increases all hero dps' bonus, and even ignore active skills completely. I use an autoclicker to spam samurai's levels, and then spam my gilded hero's levels when they unlock. I've been able to push Zone 3100+ in around 3-4 hours that way.
Ok cool, I normally level everyone to level 200 as its just easier that way to get everyones upgrades then level up the ones with my guilds i'll try the set up of just having all my guilds into 1 character though.
After the runs for getting started with gilding (beginning of a transcendence). I go until I can't kill at all any longer and I end up having to shift gilds once every run until around the time I'm hitting my TP Cap.
I use this chart to easily know when to regild. It tends to tell you a little bit late with 1.0. I find if the gild needs 200k in siya that 150-160k is enough.
