Getting 7 HS per QA right after transcending is a pretty significant boost if you can get Siyalatas and Libertas (and Solomon if you're lucky). As for the 2x damage multiplier, it helps a lot on the first few runs after transcending.
The cost of the 2x damage multiplier is 20 rubies, compared to 30 rubies for 3 gilds. Later on, 3 gilds is equal to less than 1% more DPS for 30 rubies, compared to double damage for 20 rubies, which is why double damage is worthwhile. Purchased gilds are good too, but I think there's a point where purchasing more gilds is not worth it anymore (which is at about 120 purchased gilds if you ask me).
It's essentially a super ascension that gives much bigger bonuses in exchange for nearly everything you have. You can read more about it in the FAQ or the two threads about transcendence that can be found in the "read this before posting" thread.
The "compared to 30 rubies for 3 gilds" part means that purchasing 3 gilds costs 30 rubies. I'm pretty sure you misquoted me and nwnc710 here.
I haven't really analyzed this, but it seems mathematically wrong to say gilding six random heroes (60 rubies) would be better than doubling damage (50 rubies). +100% to all heroes seems inherently better than +50% to some heroes.
So, it's worth the cost to get that soonish, rather than later.
Extra DMG from gilds can slowly drop to 1%, but if you have the Agriv ancient, Gilds aren't going to lose much. :)
after transcension, you are going to lose all your gilded bonuses(that you buy) temporarily anyway
whereas the 2x damage will help you get to zone 100 easier than no 2x damage
you can easily find them via Google search
