I would not recomend using QA soon after Trans, as it is reset to 0 and just a massive waste of rubies. You can get way more damage just out of recovering your bought guilded bonus to help with damage.
I fully agree with keeping merc loot that is very helfull as well.
Actually, a QA right after transcending gives 7 Hero Souls.
3 Guilded in endgame give way more then any small amount of time saved on getting those tiny HS.
The QA u buy right after transcending, is not to get 7 HS, but to get access to your mercs, that should be waiting with some nice relic and gold rewards, ready to claime.
I do first ascension in under half hour.
You beat me to this. ;p
Those 50 rubees will coem in handy if you've set your MERCS up before you ascend...:P So you're not getting JUST 7 souls, you're getting HOURS UPON HOURS of play time cut off your first ascend...
You might get a lot at level 110, but without any of the above tips being done, getting to level 50 will take HOURS.
I turly don't have any idea why 50 rubies is worth 1 hour of work unless you have a ton of $$ to blow, then buy all means please do not let me stop you from supporting this game :)
Just my thought :)
-The one QA at floor 1 is highly recommended so that you can open your ancients tab to take a look at the first roll. The QA also opens the mercenaries tab. Anyone who is fine with "save scuming" can now concider loading a save and get the rubies back and hit the transcend button again for a free reroll of the ancients.
-The first thing you want is a way to get to floor 50. Recommended strategy is to summon Siya and/or Libertas or Juggernaut (this one is the fastest but only with either MouseKeys or auto clicker. Normaly idle players can choose this aswell and respec after first ascension. I have done the first ascension within a ~25k combo). Recommended HS used to summon/upgrade at this point: 1-2
-At floor 50 collect your raid reward(s) for extra HS. This is also the point where you want to collect relic rewards worth atleast 5 relics. The reason you did not collect relics on floor 1 right after the QA is that with HZE 1 you will only get level 1 relics with only one modifier on all. With HZE 50(ish?) you will get lvl 3 relics with atleast up to 3 modifiers. This increases your chances of finding what you want and also you get more forge cores out of the extra relics. Again, save scumers can load a save with unclaimed relic rewards for different rolls.
My current transcendense started with only Siyalatas. With 3 levels on Xyliqil outsider and level 1 Siyalatas I got smoothly to floor 50. Claimed 11 relics and one raid reward. After choosing my four relics, salvaging the extras and upgrading I was siting on an effective level 20 Siya, level 6 Solomon (relics only) and 7 levels on Morgulis (relics only). After floor 100 I happened to have Solomon available so I summoned him and leveled him once (effective level 8. without morgulis relic might have upgraded Siya instead). My first ascension lasted rougly 1 h 30 minutes (reasonable time compared to ppl who have had just better rolls with summoning and relics. Some ppl clear first ascension under 30 minutes) with 5 HS invested. Too bad I didn't find Libertas (in relics either) or any extra primals between 100-130 so I ended up with ~1,2k HS (Pony lvl29).
its been discussed already.
the HS reward is proportional to your level.
actually, at zone 0, 7 HS is much more than what you can hope. remember at zone 100 you earn 1.
7 is already a gift. if it was really proportional, it would be 0.
those souls make you progress as much, or perhaps more as 10^8 would in a late game, because obviously if a QA can bring you that much, it aint a big nulmber for you.
its all psychological.you re reasoning with your late transcension mindset, so its very understandable. still, try to get over it. you just lost everything. those souls you lost are gone for good. you re a poor guy now.
P.S. Im short in rubis, so QA is not an option for me but good to know in future.
Might be even worth spending another 50 rubies when you dont get lucky and cant get Siyalatas and Libertas with first 7 HS.
My first transcend I had 21 AS so dropped 10 into Xyligil and 11 into Ponyboy, spent 100 rubies for two QA, got Siyalatas, Libertas and Solomon and was at level 140 in no time, after first ascension at level 140 things started moving like freight train with no brakes with Solomon raking in HS like no tomorrow.
I don't care if people cheat, hack, save edit, anything like that, its just my personal preference.
Tried several Import (pre Transcent, after Transcend) to see the Ancients i want. But game always present same less useful Ancients after QA. Even re-rolled Ancients are always same. Excluding Jugg all of them are useless for early game.
Did i miss something, like min floorlevel for useful Ancients?
No special requirements, which ancients you get offered is completely random. But the seed value from which the random number generator rolls its numbers is persistent, so the rolled numbers are deterministic. Therefore, as you have seen, loading and trying again doesn't help. You just have bad luck.
Edit:
A "trick" you can use (I personally don't because of statistics) is to transcend again. The starting seed for ancients gets adjusted as well, so transcending -> QA -> summoning will yield different ancient options. That's deterministic as well, so if transcending once doesn't yield favorable ancients, loading and transcending once again doesn't do it as well. You would need to reload and transcend twice (or thrice and so forth) before using a QA and looking for ancients to see another change.
