I'm assuming the numbers have gotten too big for your CPU. I've noticed this with many idle games, to the point this is the only one I still play because I can just ascend/transcend to stop the calculations from running in the background. Since immortal damage isn't really... reset, (at least that I've noticed.) it's likely at a extremely high number after playing for that long, and numbers that big will generally result in a lot of cpu usage to calculate them. This is simply something that you have to deal with when playing these types of games, or doing extremely high-end calculations on your pc.
Now, as I said, this is just based off my own personal experiences with the genre - there could be any number of other reasons.
As a programmer (not of this game, but generally) I can tell you that this is not the case. The used number format (double precision floating point) is a basic format specified by IEEE in 1985, you won't find a CPU that cannot handle it outside of a museum. Operations don't take longer if the numbers are bigger.
What can slow down in clicker games in general are iterative formulas, but I doubt that this is the case here. It is more likely an issue with the interaction between Flash and Windows 10 or with drivers.
Any suggestions? WOuld reinstalling the game fix any of that, or would I have to try to update flash, or whatever? Sorry I'm not super bright about this kinda stuff. :P
I'd like to thank you both.
I went through Nvidias update center and there was some that I hadn't done apparently...I have it checked to notify me, but not update? Weird.
Anyway it worked...First raid fight, no lag, so second try I had Pandora running, and opened my clicker to see if that would work, and works flawlessly...Thank you so so much!
