If you're going idle you want siya or libertas or both as your first heroes and makes sure you keep enough hero souls to balance out siya. You want to roughly keep siya x siya worth of souls.. eg. 5 siya you should have 25 souls unspent.
This guide is still fairly accurate. It's much faster now then when the guide was written. Just a few ascensions and you'll have the idle build.

Then balance it all with a calculator. I like this one.

that said, 1 normal soul, 20 trans
2 souls, 21 tran
3 souls, 22 trans
i think this scales far worse then i origionally thought.
half when pony, the rest got split up between dps and ancent cost. was told those were the big 3 to put crap into, and without seeing math i have no clue what the other 2 do
Phan raises the transcendent power cap, which is actually fairly powerful but can wait. It raises the exponential that each consecutive primal boss drops. It really comes in to effect once you're really high in to your runs. The math guys are saying you're going to 4k it's really worth having and a some number of levels could double your souls per run. I've put two points in to him so far for a transcendent power of 1.34% (3 out of 49 AS) .
----------------------------
Borb is actually quite nice and probably worth getting some levels in to earlier on. He raises the max transcendental primal reward. Basically, you hit a point where you're runs slow down their gains and you may need to transcend again because you've hit the max tp reward. In my last couple runs of my last transcendence, the last 400-500 zones were all at max tp reward (15m souls reward + the normal reward for a max of maybe 17m at very last bosses) so you start to experience somewhat declining rewards for continuing on. That's where you'll see the runs flatten out in terms of growth of hs from run to run.
Granted, even with hitting that cap it was super cool to be getting 1.5B souls per run.. lol.. and judging by my new tp cap for 2nd transcend, I went from 15m to 590m.. an increase of almost 40x the tp cap.. I'll be having some runs at the end this time that will be bringing in 40B+ souls from a single deep run of around 3 hrs. That should come up in 3-4 more days, because just transcended 12 hours ago and only pulling in about 1m a run right now.
sill need to see math to really get it but its not as unknown as it use to be.
This much:
Level of Phan = (2*(All AS you have gotten so far)+0.25)^0.5)-7
(always rounded down) (copy the formular in google. it will calculate it for you.
Borb = All AS you have gotten so far / 20
Xyl = 3 for optimal, or if you want to speed the early ascensions up you can go up to 10 but every level above that is wasted as hell.
Everything you have left in AS goes to Pony and Chor in the ratio 1:2
2 Level in Pony
1 Level in Chor
repeat until you are out of souls
If you want to see the proof for it google it. I did not do the math, it was someone else and he did great. I forgot his name tho.
Doing this will give you the optimal amount of HS in your transcension (It only applies to those players who have 40 or more AS. If your are playing active, you should obviously not level Xyl at all. Just spend those levels on Pony and Chor instead. Have a nice day.
