You'll Trancend for +1 (or whatever number)
That number counts down, when it reaches 0, you get +1 AS when you Transcend.
Thank you for that. It's a little clearer now. But until I start hitting these levels, I'm still skeptical at the moment. I will keep reading and playing, see what happens.
And with every run you'll be getting many more Hero Souls from that Transcendence power (the very bottom guy on the list) than you'll ever get from Solomon (ancient) itself.
The jist of it is, it's rather important not to screw up your first transcendence by buying the wrong upgrades from that list.
That's what I was missing, thank you.
You get the next as at X. This means you will have to acquire X amounts of HS to get the next AS. If you have 1e6 HS, which equals a million hero souls, and you have to gain 5e5 for the next AS, which equals 500.000 HS, you have to gain additional 5e5 HS.
A new transcend is always slow, but you can make it faster in a few ways. Save up one or two Quick Ascends. They cost 50 rubies each and will give you ~4HS at the beginning. Another good way is to save raid rewards from clan bosses.
Before transcending, it's always a good idea to plan ahead. Usually you do this a few days before each transcend. It involves farming rubies and making use of mercenaries, which you get to keep trough transcends.
A good start requires not only rubies, but relics as well. For one of my recent transcends I saved a 30+ relic reward and used it after transcend. This gave me a lot of relics which sped up my first ascend. So instead of painfully grinding five hours before first ascend at level 100+, it took less than half an hour. Always use the idle bonus relics at a new run. They're the most valuable, especially Siyalatas.
To find out when you should transcend, I recommend that you check out the FAQ on reddit.
That's nice. It's always fun to see how many more hero souls you get for each transcend. My max reward per primal boss atm is at ~7e26, which would in decimal be 700,000,000,000,000,000,000,040,856 HS :P
