it works out well if you can load your merc's up with ruby quests
Question about timelapse. I've tried this twice - once around floor 100 and again around floor 5,000. My HZE is juse under 14,000 and my idle boosts from ancients are fairly high in my opinion. Using the 10 rubies for an 8 hour timelapse ONLY gives me gold, resets skill cooldowns, and has mercenaries fast forward that 8 hours.
I do not know how to timelapse through floors themselves. I stay on the exact same floor and all I can do is simply buy 5,000 levels in a hero and just wait until I progress farther.
Suggestions?
Course you can't make any progress via time lapse if your idle dps isn't high enough to do so if you are set to progression mode.
must admit you are right the jumps ahead were not that great...
i now get a greater jump by spending 50 or 100 rubies
which saves many hours between each ascension
going from around 24 hour runs to less than 18..
i only worry about hours to next ascension
Progression Mode is on. My Idle DPS is sufficient to progress me through the game rapidly. An example of this being a monster has e350 Health, while my Idle DPS is e370. After buying an 8 hour timelapse with progression ON, not on farming, I stay on the exact same floor and do not progress at all.
I have Kumawakamaru at a level where every floor has 2 monsters and without timelapsing I am finishing a floor faster than 1 second. But "time lapsing" 8 hours has me in the exact same spot.
if i dont spend... my run is roughly 22 hours...
if i spend 50+ rubies i can reduce that to 13 to 14 hours...
but i have had occassions where spending 10 or 20 rubies does
not seem to offer any progress with the exception of merc time reductions
:headscratch:
What is your HZE? When is it better to spend rubies on quick ascensions instead of timellapses?
I spend 50 rubies not long after each ascension
and this gets me a jump from Zillar to Xaviar
and this works well for me at the moment unless
someone comes up with a better way to do things..
- You need to have high DPS, instantly killing everything in your current zone
- Dont forget to enable progression mode (it resets after each ascension)
- it seems impossible to progress more than 36000 zones with 8h timelapse :(
- I prefer to set all my mercenaries on long quests for rubies before timelapsing, so it becomes cheaper and sometimes even makes profit.
