When should I transcend?

Transcending is a bit more complicated than I thought. I've transcended once and im not sure when to do the second time. Should I do it when ancients will cost me too many hero souls for me?

My suggestion is to Transcend when you can no longer significanly push your highest zone ever reached (HZE). Increasing your HZE is the only way to increase your Ancient Souls (AS).

Once your Ascensions have no affect on increasing your HZE (and by extension the amount relfected on your Outsiders tab for "Transcend for +xxx") you should stop Ascending and Transcend. Use the newly gained AS to level your Outsiders and then start the process all over again.

Before the last update the "rule of thumb" was to transcend when you get about 8-12 Ascension-souls. That should still be right for the first one but after that you look for more AS

Ty, but by the looks of it, i’ll keep getting more and more hero souls and ancient souls the more i go so i was just wondering. Also, u didn’t need to tell me what to do and how it works like i didn’t even transcend yet, but ty anyway

Probably, but the way the game gave me from 20 hero souls per primal to 20k won’t make me transcend again in the close future, even tho im at 13 AS
