When to Transcend

I have reached level 300 and the option to transcend has opened up. I don't exactly understand how it increases your power but I'm sure it does. When is the best to time to transcend? As soon as possible? It says I am 12 short of transcending if I am reading it correctly.

It's basically like a mega version of ascending as you would expect. Just like you should ascend when you can no longer make any real progress you should trans when when ascending isn't getting you more levels. When you trans it's a very good idea to have at least 50 rubies so you can buy a quick ascend. Then 2 QAs, then 3 and so on as the months roll on. Also, 25 rubies to revive a merc that may die early in a new trans. Another goal would be to buy an auto clicker every other trans as well if you can. I'll be buying my 20th when I'm done with my 50th trans. And just like how you have the Ancients to help through ascensions you have the Outsiders that make each trans better. I have them split into 2 groups and I level up a different group each time. The first group is Ponyboy and Rhageist with Phandoryss getting the extra AS. The second group is then everybody else except Xyliqil(since I'm never idle) with Phandoryss again getting the leftovers. And it's always the same number of levels too within each group.

Thanks that information was very helpful. I don't have an autoclicker yet but I have read bits and pieces. When you get them what do you put them on? Clicking the enemy/bosses?

Yes you put them on the monsters. You can also put them on your best hero to level them up but I honestly don't see the advantage when I can just use the correct level up amount.

First off this advice is pretty bad unlesss you play on console version, let me tell you what to actually do.
1. Ascend when you can’t kill a boss past zone 130
2. Transcend after 3-4 ascensions that gain new AS
3. You don’t need to buy a qa after you transcend now because Phan gives you the damage. TLs should only be used from 50k and QAs should only be used from 250k-1m
4. Qubit did a guide on when it is best to revive mercs and what quests are the best.
5. You don’t need more than 5 autoclickers, the ruby cost / dps ratio is pretty bad that with 50 autoclickers you’ll only gain a couple hundred more zones than 5.
6. 50th trans? I’m on my 18th and I’m making my way to 3 mil.
7. There is both an Ancient Calculator [graceoflives.github.io] and Outsider Calculator [driej.github.io] to help spend your hero souls and ancient souls optimally. Sounds like you need to put a lot more into borb cause he is by far the best outsider.
8. You actually did good by not leveling xyl because he is worse than Phan if you go pure idle, and every other outsider. He is so bad that it is better to not level him.

I appreciate the input. After you have five clickers and it is before zone 250k or whatever, what do you spend your rubys on?

Getting some ancients right away still helps. Not to mention the unlocked merc access and whatnot. Phan don't give you that.

You should save your rubies for timelapses and quick ascensions. Start using timelapses at zone 50k. This calculator [driej.github.io] tells you the best use of rubies for timelapses.

Phan alone makes FANTs pretty quickly, no need to buy qas considering you are wasting a lot for the future. Saving rubies is vital since you need around 3.3k rubies to get from 250k to 1 mil by just using quick ascensions. Cadu and Ceus are god awful without quick ascensions. Plus how expensive tls become when you reach past 1 mil. Merc access doesn’t matter for the same reason I stated above.

Mpz increases .1 every 500 zones, which doesn’t seem like much, but it stacks up really quickly. Staying at 2 mpz is crucial since it takes many hours to get back to hze past 1 mil. You’ll also eventually experience borb cap, where your mpz goes above 2 but you can’t buy another level of borb. Not having 2 mpz can take away a lot of time in progress.

So just on a whim, inspired by this thread, I decided to math out autocliker cost efficiency.
At 5 clickers, you're getting less than 5% of a click per second, per ruby.
At 10, you're up to 12%-ish
15 nets you 43%, and 20 would get you 1.71 CPS per Ruby.
You hit 10 CPS/Ruby, btw, at around 26 autoclickers, for a tidy sum of 18.85k rubies.
