Do I need to manually turn off the auto clickers before closing the game to benefit from the new ancient?

good question... realy cant see how you can evaluate that youself, unless you know how much gold you e supposed to get....

I leave my autoclicker on when i exit the game, when i next start the game the autoclicker has been reset. I'd suggest it doesn't matter if you leave them on or not before closing the game.

Autoclickers dont work while you are offline
so,it doesnt matter if you turn them off or anything

Guess I'll just turn them off just in case.

You can test this by copying your save data and closing the game with them on waiting an hour checking your gold then pasting that save back in and testing it with them off.

Personally I'd just carry on not caring as there not a massive amount of gold gained so close it with them active and enjoy the day ;)

Not a massive amount? This ancient alone makes it worth leveling your heroes manually again, the gain is huge. By using an auto-clicker I start to slow down much faster than without it.

or just own lotsa chacs, and use only one for leveling heroes, and still benefit from massive boost. problem solved. indeed in this case the dffeence is ny huge. because the huge part happens in both cases.
