autoclickers
but i also have got about 90 guild to boost start ups after transcendings..
you mean gild? do the gildes you buy with rubies last through transcendence?
Yes they do. But gilds is still among the worst purchases.
- Early game you want double damage, then some autoclickers;
- Mid game you want some timelapses paired with smart mercs usage;
- Late game it's selective QA time to skip very costly ascensions.
Smart merc usage isn't exactly straightforward, and IMHO has changed quite a bit after December patch. What you want to do now is saving your 8-24-48 hours ruby quests for your highest level mercs, so _don't grab any quest at all_ if you get a 8-24-48 hour ruby quest and your demigod+ mercs are busy questing. If no such quest is avaiable then cycle through "garbage quest screens" by choosing the fastest quests available with your lowest level mercs. That's until you are about to buy a timelapse.
Right before buying a timelapse you assign your "idle" low level mercs the longest available quest whose length is lower than or equal to the timelapse you are about to buy (this is very important), regardless of how obnoxius that quest is. As I said before, your highest level mercs should be running 8/24/48 hour ruby quests 24/7 (exceptions apply). The idea is to actually earn rubies with your timelapses while power levelling / "culling the weak" mercs (if a merc can't make it to demigod+ you want him/her to die ASAP). If you perform this technique properly you'll be recruiting extra lives mercs in no time, which will pay for your timelapses, possibly breaking a profit. (There's more depth to this, including smart use of rubies to revive your mercs, but I'm outlining the basics.)
Be flexible, of course; if your strong mercs have 20+ hours left on their current mission you might want to do some shorter ruby quests with your mid-tier mercs. But make sure your lower tier mercs are always idle when your strong mercs come back from their missions; if they get garbage choices you want 2-3 lower lvl mercs available to cycle through poor quest screens.
This is no longer the case after December patch. Before Dec. patch it used to work like you say because outsiders had no direct effect whatsover, depending on ancients to do their job. However, after december patch you can invest a bit on Phandorys (a good idea at any rate) and enjoy a boost in DPS right after transcending that can push you to zone 50 easily in a couple of minutes. Once you're at zone 50 all you have to do is claim your clan raid rewards (remember, some clans are set to auto-accept and you can join one randomly).
thats a good idea about having 50 rubies at the start of each run...
until you get up into the high runs..
but yeah the gild you buy you get to keep all the way but they come out in lumps
of 4 at a time after you hit level 100 on each new run....
