Leeroy Jenkins
Just got Leeroy Jenkins with a dogtag name change! Best xmas present ever :)

My Leeroy is common (white). 509 days of clicking and he's just shown up, somaybe not that common!

He's a hard one to get.
Only 2.6% of players have the Leeroy Jenkins achievement - and I wouldn't be surprised if half of those were cheaters who used a hack programme.

Congratulations on getting him with the Christmas label maker.

Rarity of mercs is absolutely random. Mine Leeroy is green, +8% hs from quests.

I wondered if that could be possible.. I just changed one name and stopped since I thought it wouldn't get that name. Now I'm gonna waste them all to try and get it.

Any tips for trying to increase the odds? I'm already using my rubies on hiring, having two mercs constantly go on hiring quests and dismissing extra mercs to make room.

This is the only achievement I'm missing, I just want to finally be done with this game. Two and a half years and still not a single Leeroy...

You cannot "increase the odds" since every single merc you get is predetermined in the moment you play this game the first time. There is a tool that lets you see the mercs you will get in future, including rarity, bonus and their name. You could use it to see how long it will take until you get yours.

Thanks! But how do I see my future mercs, I only see the current ones?

Change the "number of recruits" to something like 100 and you see the next 100 mercs. Then you can search for mercs with a "*" next to their name. The "*" indicates its a Leeroy.

Okay, now I got it. Ugghhhh, still frigging 178 mercs to go before Leeroy. FFS, guess I just had awful luck with my merc seed. And to add insult to injury he becomes a lot more common after that.

Seriously, luck based achievements like this are such BS.

Yeah, i got mine like a week ago and then you have people that just randomly get one for their first 50 mercs. Luck dependend achievements realy are bs.

i already had 2 Leeroys, but i'm still curious if the graphics of a merc narrow in the possible names for that merc or can every merc be Leeroy, no matter the graphics?



That Leeroy in the first reply looks like a cheated one - Merc on Level 89. Is impossible without spending loads of money or havoing insane luck on candy canes sincs last year.

Uh.. Yeah... You're still extremely lucky. I've been playing since launch and have never had a Leeroy Jenkins. Since they changed the system so you could actually look up when you'll get one, want to know how many more mercs I have to go thru?

It's hilarious when people complain about having to go thru such a low number.

Fun fact about the label maker, the names are pretermined as well. I saved the game, used a label maker, then reloaded multiple times and always got the same name, no matter what merc I used it on. My only hope is maybe, just maybe one of the names will be Leeroy Jenkins, but I'm starting to think the label maker just uses names of future mercs you're going to get. I don't know why this game can't just have true random names. So people will load/save until they get it, big deal, it's just a single achievement.
