If you encounter a bug or a problem you can't solve, first and foremost please go to the game's folder > SolarShifter_Data folder and check if there is an output_log.txt file. If there is, please attach it in this topic so I can take a look and hopefully solve your problem. If there is no log in that folder, please provide an accurate description of the issue you've encountered....

I only ask because this game is just kicking my ASS in. I mean, I'm exploding more than the enemies on screen it seems at times, heh. I don't normally care how long it takes me to complete a map/level - but this game just seems impossible for me to do well in. I'm on the 3rd or 4th level now with my upgraded main weapon and secondary missles but I'm just getting wrecked all the time. Any way to lower the difficulty??...

I ask it because it looks awesome but I can see stutters and frameskip problems in the trailer so I can save myself from buying it.

This Issue has centered around several Unity built titles, I just got this in the sale and found out this game is also affected. Will there be a patch or should I go for the refund?

I'm not a shmup pro and i believe Solar Shifter EX can't compete with best games of this genre. But for beginners like me SSEX is top notch! I didn't regret any minute I played the game. Stunning visually with cool backgrounds... There are way worse trash games in Steam with better reviews ((...
