Update: GENE files were missing from the default branch (but were on 1.6.0).
They are now correctly set up.

"one of the biggest update to RPG Maker MV ever" reading the changelog it does not look so big.
I updated tonight and now when I attempt to launch rpg maker mv it doesn't appear to load. It will start "running" then immediately "sync" and nothing happens. So basically, it's crashing. I went ahead and updated my project (thinking that it was trying to run old js and blowing up because of that... which doesn't actually make any sense tbh but whatever) and that didn't work either. Whomp whomp.

Hey all together, I have found out that the following plugins can not be used for now. SRD Supertoolsengine with as well as all Plugins depending on it, Kausultimateoverlay, Terraxlighting, QuasiSimpleshadows and the YEP_GridFreeDoodads.

If you use this Plugins you must turn them off to run the playtest. Also keep in mind that those are only plugins that I have in my Project. There for it is possible the you also have others that do not work.
Is there any way to prevent steam from updating rpg maker? These random updates are really devestating for my workflow, this update has cost me about 5 hours of work so far, just trying to get my project to work again. Thank alot, mate.:steamfacepalm:
If such a way is existing I don’t know of it. Ore rather I haven’t found something like that in the update properties.
Selection map tiles on Event graphic will crash the maker XQ

HOW TO PREVENT STEAM FROM UPDATING
In your library, right click on RPG Maker MV, open the properties then the Beta tab.
From this tab, select the version of RPG Maker you want to use.
This version will not be updated.

My Steam is set to autoupdate and low-and-behold it breaks my project when I go to test. Finally get my project running and try to test a troop battle

TypeError: require(...).Window.get(...).isDevToolsOpen is not a function
at Object.Yanfly.Util.displayError (YEP_SkillLearnSystem.js:1945)

So I disable YEP_SkillLearnSystem, then...

So, I disable YEP_EnhancedTP...

I think I'm getting the picture here, I use Yan's plugins quite heavily so it's not like I can source alternatives, is there a way I can roll back the version somehow?
I created a quick vanilla project and tried to playtest it immediately. Nothing is happening; the playtest won't launch.
