The old Large IconSet from VX Ace

Does anyone know if it would possible to resize those icons to be used for MV, i tried to improt them which imported, but the icons didnt lien up correctly making it unable to be used. Its just just a maker of sliding the icons over a few pixels in photosho or gimp, i have tried that. I believe the size itself might need to be changed tho im not sure exactly how, or if that would distort the image.

For those that know of the IconSet i am referring to its the one that you can google it has idk 1000 or so icons its a massive list that was great for VX Ace.

the best you can get currently is the old vx ace set from yanfly, he upscaled it for mv, and it looks pretty neat :)

I'm assuming icon sizes have also been increased to 48x48 as well, so takwe the image and count how many rows and columns there are. Multiply each by 48, and that'll give you the new height and width to resize the whol eimage to. I think.

You easily can upscale your ace icons for MV. Just check youtube for some videos how to do it. You might need Photo Shop program but for me and as for most people this program is to expensive. So get the program GIMP it's a verry amazing piece of software which makes it much easier for you and it is for FREE =) PS: If you're planing to use GIMP then you have to turn on the magical Grid and size of Grids 32x32 and you'll be good =)

Actually, if you look up Photoshop CS2, it's free. I got both Photoshop CS2 and GIMP, and I prefer the photoshop. They are both free!

Just as a piece of advice before anyone decides to seek out and use it, that icon set is full of uncredited work and rips from various games. Definitely not something one would want to use in a commercial game of any kind (personally, I wouldn't use it at all, even non-commercially, since it's a jerky thing to do to the artists that distributed the icons originally).

Also, as far as I heard, you're only legally entitled to the CS2 download if you already have a valid license.

I have to try it out thanks. Hope I'll find a free version without any virus xD
