Unable to read Actors.json file
How to fix "Unable to read Actors.json file" error?

Typical situation. I install a game made on RPG Maker MV engine and try to open it through RPG Maker MV. I almost always get this error. Why? The game starts and works, why the same game does not open in the editor in which it was made?

The creator chose to not let you edit the game when they deployed it.

So what is the point of this editor then? That's the only reason I bought it. To open games, see how they work and translate them.

The point is to create games with it. Didn't bother to actually read what's written in the product description, did you?
