Game got uninstalled somehow/classes.json. can't load
Really been upset with this software recently, today I try to open a game I am working on and it wont open because classes.json. not found well how odd because classes.json. is in fact in my data folder, I open a different game folder and surprise surprise it open! But this other one won't the random .json not loadings seem to occur at random times and on random games, also log into steam to find the game not installed on my laptop odd because it was installed yesterday and now it isn't I didn't uninstall it at any point between then. I have used this software countless time and for many years but the software is just acting up more and more would really love to know if there are any current bugs, or issues with the programs software causing these issues.

Like kris says, data files can get corrupted (basically the contents get wiped) if the editor crashes while the database is open. When it happened to me, the data files all ended up empty. I had a backup, though, so no big deal. =)

I hear it can also happen if you have the project folder connected to some auto-sync service, e.g. OneDrive, Dropbox, etc...so it's encouraged to make backups only while the editor is closed. =O

I copy important files to an external hard drive once in a while, sometimes manually upload to cloud storage, there are various options for making backups~

Replaced the classes.json with one from another game but now items.json is not working and it's got lots of items inside of it's list hopefully reinstalling the game will fix this issue because if not having to reset the items list will take forever
It's not these but almost all of my .jsons are not working at all this is really confusing.

Probably corrupted json files if they all are causing issues. This is why you need to keep backups :/

If you know your way around json structured-data, you could probably look at the json files with a good text editor and see if the structures are broken. Assuming the files are still readable and seem mostly-correct, I'd guess RMMV complains about missing json files when the files contain broken json or have some issue with readability.

Did you happen to modify the json files directly before? It's possible you could've damaged them back then. RMMV itself doesn't tend to corrupt JSON data unless it crashes mid-write or something happens to the disk mid-write.

Thanks for the dropbox/one drive back up with auto sync I will make sure to look into it, I did lose a good amount of progress but I didn't mind restarting it to have a fresh take on the game ty
