Maybe they're using the fade option in the transfer as well with its own event command. Maybe the fadein is never given an opportunity to run. Maybe one of those pictures is a solid black screen and is never erased properly.
Yea i figured it out. Turns out the moron didn't connect two events properly. They were in separate rooms. If it was me that never would've happened, and he completely forgot he link those two events. Only reason i found out was i happen to use a transfer player command to transfer the player to the only room that seemed to not cause black screen. Which was why the other instance worked right. I didn't even know such a glitch could happen.
