Character walking speed

Hey guys,

just a quick question. Is there any way to change the default walking speed of your character on the map? I've found a couple of solutions for old RPG Makers but they're either not working anymore or I'm too dumb to make them work.

Additionally I'd also be very grateful if someone knew a way to disable Shift as a running key, or running per se.

Through eventing you can slow down the default walk/run speed, you can also disable sprinting from map settings/properties.

Event editor page 2;
Movement
Set movement route -> set speed -> your choice ( it remains as that until you change it again)

And disabling dashing (running) on a map is just one click away in the map properties.
Tick the disable Dashing and no one will never run on that ever again!
