You could try Audacity to convert them, although that might take some time. There might be online websites that allow you to upload your midi files and convert them to something else like .wav or .mp3?
I'm only found that out just now, but MV seems to only support .ogg and .m4a audio files.
nice info

So, it's possible to develop a plugin to support midi if i want to make an .exe only game? I mean, there's no license problems in doing this?

It seems nice.
MIDI files are very dependent on a few things, playing them on two computers can get different results.
Midi to OGG: http://www.zamzar.com/convert/midi-to-ogg/
or everything to OGG: http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg
Is OGG supported? or let's say so: which formats are free for all and used by MV and they don't need an extra license?
