Will it be possible to make hidden objects games for Android/ Ios?
I read MV has mouse support too.

Since the answer to everything has been "sure, with a plugin", then that will probably be the answer to this one too. Apparently JavaScript has enormous freedom in MV. The default mouse interface just causes you to move to a location and interact with something. That's actually enough for a more conventional hidden object game -- you could have a ghostly player and tiles that are full of detail but completely passable, and you could have events colocated with the objects that the player is being asked to find. So you wouldn't actually need to take control of mouse events, so to speak. But you can probably do that too.

While technically yes, you could do that...

At this point I think it would be easier to use Unity. Creating a hidden object game with it would take, literally, just a few hours (if you already have your artwork and such).

Many different genres have been made with VX Ace and other previous RPG Maker editions but like Ellye pointed out, there are numerous engines far better suited to an art-intensive hidden object game.

the simplest form of hidden object games can be done out of the box without any script or plugin in most of the makers - simply use any picture you want as a parallax background on a map without tiles, use a crosshair as a player sprite that moves on the map and have events as the hidden objects be triggered by the player action button, using event commands to count up the points and vanish the event.

SOME more advanced effects could be simulated by the events or mixing in tiles as well, only the rather tricky modern functions might require scripts (have played some hidden object games but they're not my preferred game type, so I don't know what's considered "state of art" there.
