RPGMaker MV Forum + Resources
http://www.rpgmakermv.co/ The First RPG Maker MV community forum. RMMV is a MV community website that allows members to participate in the amazingly friendly community that makes you feel as if you're apart of a huge family. On top of all of that, RMMV offers loads of amazing resources such as Plugins, Javascript topics, tilesets, and loads more. You can upload your game for all to play, and even sell your game if you so choose too. RMMV also has it's own Wiki where you can find out all the information you'd need on the latest resources, developers, etc. Everything on the site has been voted on by the community, so anything you see on the site has been approved by the majority. If nothing else, I recommend you at least check it out!

I've been there for their other forums (XP, VX, Ace), and they are pretty damn heklpful. Sometimes friendly, sometimes very militant but always helpful. Certainly better than the toxic Steam forums... I feel bad for interested people coming here and having to wade through the vitriol and hatred of the internet bullies and schmucks of the world...

Oh, you forgot the ending 'm' in your URL

Don't know. The Steam forum is often filled up with the same quests over and over again. It's really helpful to visit a dedicated RPG Maker Forum.

And you are wrong with the note that a "m" is missing, the site really has the ending ".co". ^^

I remember the VX fan forums when it was around and the Ace fan forums when it was still pretty popular, however, they are fairly overshadowed by the offical forums that started back in early 2012: rpgmakerweb.com. I would love to see this fan forum go somewhere, but there is really nothing here that stands out from RMW or even it's sister site: rpgmaker.net.

I rarely go anywhere other than the official forums (since I run them) at http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/ . The only fan forum I'm a huge fan of is our sister site at RMN ( RPGMaker.net ) which is also well run.

I think RMW though is always going to be the best place to go for the latest news, plugins, tutorials and just general help with RMMV. (RMN is much more about hosting games, which they do really really well).

RPGmakerMV.co just passed 100 members, has a new halloween theme, and has a LOT of amazing new features like badges, with some awesome resources already available like music.

Just for future note: Always a good idea to disclose you're involved in running a forum when you tell people to check it out ;)

Pretty weird how you make it sound like you found a nice forum but then you say it's yours (or part of the team).

Nonetheless, good luck on getting famous members to boost your popularity, I see Tsukihime's there already.

2 things I would do on your forums: the index page with all the stuff at the left is pretty damn annoying, put this at the right or even better at the bottom. And 2, I see an ad on the Index but nowhere else, how about getting rid of it? I believe you have sponsors for that.

Oh and if you'd like to make some promotion on here, which is fine, could you like show features the forums has? Looks like a generic RM forum to me :P

Basically, it's generally a good idea to mention when you're involved with something you promote so that people don't accuse you of being less-than-honest about your reasons for promoting it.

An easier example would be somebody on a forum posting about how awesome a game is and everybody should try it out - but they're not really a player who liked it and want to share, they're the creator of the game.

I'm not accusing you of that kind of dishonesty, by the way - I've seen you post elsewhere and know you're just enthusiastic about being a part of a new RM community - but it's usually good practice to disclose when you're involved with a thing so nobody can accuse you of shilling ^^

People had already made their point; but I want to add on to that. I wasn't going to join purely on the fact you were self promoting without making it aware. Only reason I might change my mind is the javascript portion of it. But tha'ts a big if. Not that I, one lonely person matters, but that is my opinion on it.

Everything on our site has been either requested, or voted on by the community. Everyone thus far enjoyes everything, and wanted at least a small adv for extra revenue to put back into update and managing the site.
