Can you make pokemon-like grass

Hey, i was wondering if it was possible to make pokemon-like grass. So something like grass that split when you walk in ? Like maybe animated grass that only trigger it's animation once whn in contact of player ?
I'm an absolute beginner btw

You're going to have to resort to external plugins that affect Region Tiles (the R at the bottom of your map spritesheet). You can for instance use Galv's "MV Map Animation Effects", which comes with a demo. I suggest you look at how it is set up in there. Especially read through the plugin documentation, its settings and look through which Region Tiles are used and how Common Events and Animations are set up.
