friends log in notices has helped a lot with that. Now, with the latest update, it's so much easier to mess with assets (mac with steam finding the character generator from the root file was the toughest thing I had to do with the program thus far.) Mac's handle their root stuff differently than windows so everyone would post the window way (even when I was asking for mac way) and once I found it, I posted the easiest way to find it on a mac. If that helps at all.
2. try it for < 2 hours
3. get a refund via Steam if you don't like it
Though, yes there should be a trial for Mac if there isn't one as it just seems silly to not have it
