Shipbuilding advice?
Trying to build a map of a medieval ship but having difficulties. For one thing, water recognizes most tiles as land, so it creates a little beach around it. And I cannot figure out how to make it look .... well, like a ship :/ any building strategies or tips?

I don't know what your tileset looks like but the boat parts should probably be on tileset B if you are having auto-tile issues.

Alternatively, if modifying the tilesets is too much work, you could leave the water transparent and make the background-image some seamless water-waves texture, like this[cdn1.vectorstock.com] and have it loop horizontally rather slow-like.

Also, if you're using the default tiles then the result is bound to resemble a box. In case you're interested, Avery has some ship tiles in her big resource thread, under Tiles > Exterior > Ship: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/avys-mv-stuff.53317/

Use the A tiles for the ship body, and the B~C tiles for the bottom/sides/railings. It took me a while to assemble mine, but it turned out great! ^_^

OP here you can learn about the shift click functions while mapping.

It should solve the problems described.

Do you already have tileset for this? Avary has some on the forum. Read their terms of use before downloading though.
