Exporting to : Browser (Win, Mac and linux?)
Hi all,

A quick question and it may be a very very stupid one.

If I export a game using the export to browser option and give the exported files to people to play locally on their computer, will the game work on all 3 operating systems ?

Only if they follow the steps in the help.

if you export for HTML they run on each and every OS, but will run in the browser, like firefox or chrome. If you do that, you can as well just upload it on a hosting service, so it will run without download.

If your game is big and recourseful, I advice to deploy the game for each platform, instead of a browser game. It will just run smoother. Also functions like full screen, or finding your game safefiles are causing issues for HTML games. This wouldn't be a problem for online hosted games, but it s just annoying for a downloaded game.
