Need help getting more items

I just started making my game and as I was making my first store I realised there's barely anything to sell and no foods. Is it possible for someone to help?

Do you even know what a plugin is nooblet?

A plugin is a program extension, that you don't have the coding chops to make yourself.

First, take the time to read the help section & do the tutorials before you start asking for people's help.




Second, no one here is interested in helping you with this, because you are asking for something so basic, that there is essentially nothing you won't be asking those of us here to do for you.

You had basic templates in your database, you have an icon set for images, & you presumably have played a video game or two. Make some items, then consider how to create images to go along with them you like better than what you have.

If you can't be bothered to put forth that much effort, no one here is going to put forth any effort to help you.




Third, you obviously have a connection to the internet, ever heard of google?

Honestly this is a question that can be answered within sixty seconds & a few key strokes.




Forth, Nooblet, do yourself a favor, check the program times of the people on this thread. Then after you compare the numbers of the people here, with your own.

Take the time to consider just how much weight your complaints of time you've invested carry with the people here.




Fifth, & you think people here are going to do what exactly?

Take over your project for you, create your items & the images to go with them, send your project back to you; & then wait for you to ask for them to make your weapons, or armors, or enemies, or states, or skills, etcetera for you?

This is not a charity, this a community of creators, who spend their free time making video games, after managing all of the other commitments in their lives. No one here has enough to time make their own projects, we certainly don't have time to make your project for you.

Anyone here worth mentioning is a sleep deprived caffeine junkie future carpal tunnel syndrome sufferer in perpetual deadline hell on whatever project they are working on.

The rest are a pertetually rotating cast of people who either think they are going to make Skyrim over the weekend & quit once they realize it doesn't work like that; or spam some shovelware to gamejolt/greenlight & then quit once they realize how much work is involved in making anything that isn't gamejolt/greenlight shovelware spam.

Sixth, understand this making anything worth calling a game, on average will require 100 work hours for 1 hour of play. & that's assuming you are only using RTP assets. If you are doing any asset creation, double that time frame.

I suggest you seriously consider just how much effort you are willing to put towards your project, & never ask for help here again, unless you are willing to provide a comparable amount of effort yourself.

Because no one who has been here longer than six months, has any respect for parasites that think other people are going to make their games for them.

Once again, obviously I am a noob which is why I was asking for help you genius and if you don't want to help why bother writing an essay attacking a random kid online. Where in my post does it say "make me sprites" I simply asked how I should get more as I am infact a noob and a communities are where people help each other. So stop being so toxic and move along.

What do you even gain from doing this? Does it make you feel superior or are you just a ♥♥♥♥ to everyone. Understand that I, confused, simply asked how I could do something in a program which is what discussions are for.

& yes everyone here already knows you're a noob, the questions you've asked made that apparent. The issue is not that you are a noob, the issue is the kind of noob that you are.

There are only two kinds of people in this community, creators & detritus.

Creators are worth respecting & will put forth the effort to make something of merit, & they represent a net positive to the community, & thus warrant asistance. They also happen to be very much the minority, less than ten percent in my opinion.

Detritus on the other hand are a net negative to the community, at best they are vaporware producers who quit within a year when they learn they can't push a few buttons to create The Witcher or Skyrim; at worst they are gamejolt/greenlight shovelware spammers who actively degrade the reputation of the community, until they finally quit when they realize the effort required to make more than shovelware.

The detiruts by the way, represents about 90% of the community at any given time, & are a constantly rotating cast, because the majority of them quit within a year.

& my assessment of an individual, directly relates to my manner of interaction.

If you find that troublesome, either change my assessment of you, or rage in frustration at your own impotence. I suspect you won't be around long enough for it to matter.

No, they don't. What you're looking talking about is simply importing more icons and adding database entries. If you want to get an idea of what plugins do, you can look at releases from some popular plugin creators, like Yanfly for example. ( http://yanfly.moe/yep/ )

the point of your textwalls could have been told in a few nice and short sentences as kind of additional information without any namecalling or directly deminishing of users, but that was not the case. Kitty which you mentioned is providing helpful and short answers or questions which are normaly ok like that. He/She does not behave unfriendly. okay that one time were he/she got Troll burn out and started being not nice, which ended after a hot cup of moderators beverage and lots of hugging to get him/her back to the fun side of life.(Not sure if it realy happened like that but atleast that was what i got told)

this is a help question in a maker forums not a high skill debate thread for ego petting.
since you still got many valid information maybe considder writing a blog or tutorial, or start your own Topic about those so called elements you were referring to, dont missuse valid arguements to pick a fight against others in the help forums or to mask name calling, thats not ok.

Yanfly has a icon generator program - go to his site at www.yanfly.moe to learn more about that. When it comes to icons VXace has a lot more going for it as well so if you can snag it on a sale sometime, you can have access to the icon sheet from that program. If you have any kind of editing program, you can then cut paste what icons you need from it.
