Help with audio (Not showing in-game)
Some of the custom audio I put in the game works and some don't work/show in the game. I see that the sounds are in the files but I can't use them. I make sure it's the same file type too.

Check if they are in the right folder.
Check if they are .ogg format.

And what is the right folder? Is it within the steam folder, or in your documents folder?
Because... I really believe it is in the wrong folder. :p I believe you believe it is in the right folder, but believe me... You wouldn't be the first one who's messing with the wrong folder.

If you want to know where your project is located, click the "Open Project" button in the top left corner of the screen, next to the "New Project" and the "Save project" button. It might ask you to save your game first, click yes, to be sure. Now a window shows up. This should show you the right folder. Select the adres-bar and copy the adress, and close this window.

Now go to windows explorer or whatever you may use to browse your files, and paste this copies adress in the adress bar and hit enter. Now you are in your project folder.

But maybe this will help...
Open the Resource Manager in RPG Maker MV.
It is the button next to the character generator.

Use this tool to inport new music and graphics to your game.

Simply select the type of asset you want to import, (so it ends up in the right folder) and click Import.

Also, there are 4 audio folders:
BGM (Background Music)
BGS (Background Sound)
ME (Music Effects)
SE (Sound Effects)

This means... If you place something in the BGM folder, it won't be found when you try to load BGS, or ME.

Yup, I know what I'm doing, it's just that no matter what, the audio doesn't show up.

Guess you're screwed, then. =/

More seriously, it'd be more helpful to state what you've tried and what the results were, rather than dismissively saying nothing works "no matter what". =P

Close and re-open RPG Maker MV, do the files appear then?

.ogg or .OGG? File extensions should all be lowercase.

Do the files show up when trying to import them via the Resource Manager? (Something that BigFatX suggested, not sure whether you tried it.)

In the editor, go to Game > Open Folder from the menu bar at the top. From there, navigate to the audio/bgm subfolder. Are your .ogg BGM music files there? Ditto for the BGS/SE/ME subfolders. =)

Give some examples of the filenames you're using, maybe they don't fit network naming guidelines? It's recommended only use letters/numbers and hyphens; no spaces, accents, other punctuation, etc. This applies to the full path from drive letter to filename...spaces and such may be OK, exotic/non-ASCII characters might not be.

Failing all that, maybe screenshots of a) the files in your game folder and b) whatever you see when the files fail to load in the editor could be helpful? .-.

I know this is way late but if anyone comes across this, Make sure the name of your audio file has no spaces in it. it worked for me.
