no battle background?
hey guys im working on a game but everytime i go into a battle my back ground for it wont show up it's supposed to be like a desert background but it's nothing

Is this in-game or via the database's "Battle Test" function?

Also, is it just a black background that's displaying, or something else?

@Caethyril it's in-game and no it's just where you can see what's behind it like it's transparent you can still see the game behind it

Oh, good, I know how to fix this! ^_^

If you right-click the map in the list (bottom-left corner of the main editor screen), then choose "Edit...", a Map Properties window will appear. One of the boxes is marked "Specifiy Battleback"; enable it and pick the background you want for that map. =)

If you want a variety of battlebacks on one map, I'd instead recommend you look into using a plugin, e.g. Yanfly's Region Battlebacks: http://yanfly.moe/2015/12/27/yep-52-region-battlebacks/
